Full-time position, immediate availability at the Johnston location at 1126 Hartford Avenue.

Full-time (40 hours) position with benefits; one (1) evening shift required as well as rotating Saturdays.  Must be motivated to work as part of the Clinical Team in providing comprehensive primary care services to patients.  Must be a graduate of a formal Medical Assistant training program ( at least 12 month program).  Certification through AAMA preferred.  Excellent written and oral communication skills required.  Experience as a Medical Assistant in an ambulatory setting required.  Must have experience in Electronic Health Records.

RESPONSIBILITIES:  Must be able to perform basic duties related to overall patient services at the Tri-County Community Action Agency Health Center, including participating in pre-visit planning, medical record abstracting, participating in meeting huddles, preparing patients for examination, taking vital signs, performing point of care testing, cleaning exam rooms, facilitating referrals, specimen processing, scheduling follow up appointments, diagnostic tracking and patient communication.
