Position Description: The Extended Day Teacher is responsible to ensure a safe, healthy learning environment for children ages 3-5, plan developmentally appropriate activities related to children's interests, preparation and implementation of daily snack, rest time set-up and care, tracking attendance, maintaining parent communication, keep a well-organized classroom, complete the End of the Day Responsibilities Checklist and work collaboratively with the Extended Day Supervisor.

Education Qualifications: Preschool CDA and/or Associates’ Degree in Early Childhood Education; 1-2 years of preschool experience preferred. Willing to obtain a CPR/First Aid certificate within the first 2 months of hire.

Desired qualifications: Ability to work in a team environment, creative, organized, good communicator, positive leaderships skills, work well with staff and families.
