Help around the home and a life support system for people in crisis.

We ease the strains on the family housing budget by providing assistance with monthly bills and repairs, and by converting drafty, inefficient dwellings into warm, energy-conserving money savers. We’re also a life support system, helping to prevent homelessness and providing basic human needs for families going through difficult times, as well as those who can’t stretch their own resources any further.

Heating Assistance (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program)
Assistance in paying heating/utility bills during the winter months to reduce home-heating costs (gas, electric, propane, oil, kerosene or wood). Available to low-income residents in the towns of Charlestown, Exeter, Hopkinton, Narragansett, New Shoreham, North Kingstown, Richmond, South Kingstown, Westerly and West Greenwich.

Applications will be accepted starting Oct. 19, 2015 at the SCCAA North Kingstown location, 415 Tower Hill Road. See graphic below for income guidelines for the 2015-16 application period.
